Lyn Braun, President:

Lyn Braun along with her husband are owners of SERVPRO of the  Southtowns, a fire and water restoration company, located at 97 Evans  Street in the Village of Hamburg. For 15 years Lyn Braun has helped  SERVPRO of the Southtowns grow into a successful business winning  numerous awards including Double Volume, Outstanding Performance in  Sales, Executive Bronze, President Platinum, Director Gold and Platinum.  Lyn is affiliated with IIAWNY and is very active in the insurance industry.  Lyn is responsible for the day to day affairs of the business, Human Resources, scheduling, payroll, training, and managing the office.

Lyn is currently the president of the Lake Erie Seaway Trail and treasure of Studio at Clark. She enjoys snowshoeing, RVing,  jet skiing, cooking and traveling. Lyn’s passion is college football and art of all media.

Francine Geyer, Treasurer:

Francine Geyer is Treasurer of the Friends of Lake Erie Seaway Trail Center  and chairperson for the Finance Committee. She is a 25-year employee of  HSBC Bank, with her most recent roles as Branch Manager and Project  Manager. She has served as a Board Member for the Town of Evans  Chamber  of Commerce, Community Concern of WNY and the Lackawanna  Economic  Development Zone. Francine is a 23-year resident of Hamburg  and currently  resides on Hoover Beach. She moved here to fulfill her  husband’s desire to raise their 2 children where he grew up. Francine and Peter take full advantage of all that beach life has to offer including walking their dogs on the beach in all weather conditions.  Francine also loves to swim and kayak during the summer, and she especially looks forward to the spectacular Lake Erie sunsets in all seasons. Francine became active with the Seaway Trail because she strongly believes in its mission to promote tourism and provide a welcoming atmosphere for anyone to enjoy the same beauty of Lake Erie that she and her family witness every day. She also shows great enthusiasm regarding the information and knowledge that the Seaway Trail Center can offer to travelers and residents of Western New York. Francine strongly believes that the Town of Hamburg and surrounding regional communities should commit to raising awareness and educate others regarding environmental sustainability. She believes that by committing to protect the environment, the water, materials and natural resources provided by Lake Erie will continue to thrive for many generations. In addition to her volunteerism at the Seaway Trail, Francine is an annual participant in the Lake Erie Clean Beach Sweep, employer-sponsored environmental efforts, and other local events related to environmental activism. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, her hobbies include downhill and cross-country skiing, biking, snowshoeing, yoga, and frequent trips to Chestnut Ridge to walk with friends.

Leah Wzientek, Secretary:

leah wz  Leah is a Civil Engineering graduate of the University at Buffalo, now    working and living in Buffalo.  She was born and raised in Buffalo through 5th  grade, and returned to the city for college.  She love the outdoors, Leah does  lots of backpacking trips, and is an avid proponent of environmental  conservation.  Leah also loves getting involved, participating in the numerous  events WNY has to offer and encouraging others to get active. (She was a  regular at the fitness at Canalside events, especially Zumba!)
